Digitus FTTH glasvezel inbouw wandcontactdoos DN-93201 SC/LC-adapter 86x30x86mm

The Digitus FTTH fiber optic flush-mounted wall outlet DN-93201 provides a compact in-wall termination point for SC and LC fiber optic adapters. Measuring 86×30×86 mm, this outlet is intended for residential, commercial and industrial FTTH installations where a discreet, clean interface for high-speed fiber connections is required. The unit protects terminated fibers, maintains correct bending radius and allows secure connection of ONTs, routers or other fiber-capable devices.

Advantages

The flush-mounted design offers a low-profile and neat appearance while protecting fiber terminations from dust, mechanical damage and accidental disconnection. Support for industry-standard SC and LC adapters ensures broad compatibility with common fiber equipment. The outlet’s internal layout preserves the optimum bending radius to maintain signal quality and reduce the risk of fiber stress or breakage.

Suitable for

• FTTH installations in apartments and homes
• Fiber terminations in offices and commercial premises
• In-wall fiber endpoints in industrial or multi-dwelling buildings

How to use

Install the outlet into a suitable in-wall box or cavity according to local installation standards and cabling practice. Route the incoming fiber to the internal termination area, secure the fiber and terminate using the appropriate SC or LC adapter modules. Ensure the fiber routing inside the outlet observes the recommended minimum bending radius before closing and fixing the faceplate. Connect the ONT, router or patch cable to the exposed adapter to complete the fiber link.

Recommendations

Protect terminated fibers from dust during installation and handle connectors by the ferrule or boot. Maintain the recommended bend radius, use dust caps when adapters are not in use, and follow standard safety and cleaning procedures for fiber optic connectors.
