Netwerkkabel ASSMANN Electronic DK-1617-030S RJ-45 Cat6 3 m grijs

The ASSMANN Electronic DK-1617-030S RJ-45 Cat6 3 m Grey is a 3-metre Ethernet patch cable built to Cat6 specifications for high-speed data transmission. Equipped with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and U/UTP construction, this cable is intended to deliver stable performance with reduced electromagnetic interference in typical home and office network environments. The grey jacket provides a neutral appearance that integrates easily into structured cabling installations.

Advantages

This Cat6 cable supports higher bandwidths and improved signal integrity compared with lower-category cables, enabling reliable connections for Ethernet devices. The RJ-45 terminations ensure broad compatibility with network switches, routers, patch panels and network interface cards. U/UTP shielding helps minimize crosstalk and external interference without adding substantial bulk or stiffness to the cable. The 3 m length offers flexibility for short runs between equipment while keeping cable management straightforward.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, printers and IP phones to a network switch or router
• Patching between wall outlets and patch panels in small offices or home networks
• Short to medium-length Ethernet runs in server rooms, workstations and living areas
• Applications requiring Cat6 performance for Gigabit Ethernet and other high-speed links

How to use

Verify that both network devices and intermediate equipment support Cat6 cabling and compatible speeds. Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of the first device and the other connector into the second device, switch or patch panel port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic noise; secure with cable ties or clips as needed to maintain a neat installation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to mains power lines or large electrical equipment. Keep bend radius gentle, do not exceed recommended pulling tension, and use appropriate patch panels or keystone jacks for permanent installations. For longer runs or environments with high interference, consider shielded or higher-category cabling.
