DIGITUS Ultra Slim HDMI-splitter, 1x4, 4K/60Hz HDR, HDCP 2.2, 18 Gbps, micro-USB gevoed

The DIGITUS HDMI splitter distributes a single HDMI audio/video signal to up to four displays, supporting UHD 4K at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma. It provides full 18 Gbps bandwidth, HDR and HDCP 2.2 support, and can be powered via Micro USB from a TV USB port or an external USB adapter. The compact, ultra-slim design allows cascading up to eight splitters in series for larger display setups.

Advantages

The splitter offers reliable transmission of high-resolution content with HDR and HDCP 2.2 compatibility, ensuring clear playback of UHD sources. Its 18 Gbps throughput supports 4K/60 Hz (4:4:4) signals and 3D content. Power can be drawn from a TV USB port or an external USB charger for flexible installation. Cascading up to eight units enables expansion to more displays without repeated cable switching. The device also includes electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection and works as plug-and-play.

Key specifications

• Input/outputs: 1× HDMI input, 4× HDMI outputs
• Maximum resolution: 4K (3840×2160) @ 60 Hz (4:4:4)
• Bandwidth: up to 18 Gbps
• HDR: supported
• HDCP: 2.2 compatible
• Power: Micro USB supply (TV USB port or external adapter)
• Cascading: up to 8 splitters in series
• Design: ultra slim

How to use

Connect the HDMI source (e.g., Blu-ray player, set-top box, PC) to the splitter's HDMI input and connect up to four displays to the HDMI outputs. Provide power to the splitter using the Micro USB connector by plugging it into a TV USB port or a USB charging adapter. If more outputs are required, cascade additional splitters (maximum 8 units in series) by linking an output of one splitter to the input of the next. The device is plug-and-play and does not require software configuration.

Recommendations

For reliable 4K/60 Hz performance use high-quality HDMI cables rated for 18 Gbps and ensure source and displays support HDR and HDCP 2.2. When cascading multiple splitters, power each unit appropriately and test the chain before permanent installation.
