DIGITUS USB Type-C naar USB Type-C AOC hybride glasvezelkabel 4K@60Hz USB 3.1 Gen 1, 20 m

The Digitus AV Connection Cable 4K USB Type-C AOC (AK-330160-200-S) is an active 20 m hybrid cable that transmits uncompressed video and audio signals in UHD 4K/60Hz with up to 21.6 Gbps bandwidth. The construction uses both copper and fiber optics to keep the cable thin and lightweight while ensuring reliable long-distance signal transfer. It complies with DisplayPort 1.2 and supports DP Alternate Mode over USB Type‑C and requires no external power. Gold-plated contacts and USB 3.2 Gen 1 compatibility ensure stable connectivity between USB Type‑C devices.

Advantages

The hybrid copper–fiber design provides high bandwidth (up to 21.6 Gbps) and immunity to electromagnetic interference, enabling loss-free transmission of uncompressed audio and video across the full 20 m length. The active construction and advanced chip technology allow Plug & Play operation without an external power supply. The cable has a very small bending radius and low weight for easier routing and installation while maintaining image quality at UHD resolution.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops or PCs with USB Type‑C output to USB Type‑C monitors or projectors
• Home theatre setups requiring long HDMI/DisplayPort replacements via USB‑C
• Meeting rooms and conference rooms with remote displays
• Video wiring inside buildings where long, thin cables and EMI immunity are needed

Key specifications

• Model: Digitus AK-330160-200-S
• Connector: USB Type‑C to USB Type‑C (unidirectional: host input → display output)
• Cable length: 20 m
• Bandwidth: up to 21.6 Gbps
• Resolution: up to 4K UHD (4K/60Hz)
• USB version: USB 3.2 Gen 1 (3.1 Gen 1)
• Standard compliance: DisplayPort 1.2, DP Alt Mode over USB‑C
• Color: Black; gold-plated contacts

How to use

Connect the USB Type‑C plug marked for the host to your notebook or source device and the other USB Type‑C plug to the monitor or display device that accepts USB Type‑C video input. The cable is unidirectional — ensure the correct orientation (USB Type‑C = input device, USB Type‑C = output device). No drivers or external power are required; the display should be detected automatically after connection.

Recommendations

For best results, route the cable with gentle bends and avoid tight kinks despite the small bending radius. Verify that both source and display support DP Alt Mode over USB‑C and DisplayPort 1.2 features to achieve 4K/60Hz. Keep the cable away from strong sources of mechanical stress and sharp edges to preserve the fiber-optic core.
