DisplayPort-kabel Gembird CC-DP8K-AOC-10M 10 m zwart

The Gembird CC-DP8K-AOC-10M is a 10 m Active Optical DisplayPort cable from the AOC Premium Series, designed for high-resolution video transmission between DisplayPort devices. By using fiber optic technology with integrated copper power wires, the cable supports long-distance signal delivery (up to 100 m in AOC implementations) while reducing susceptibility to electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference. The cable features a slim 4.5 mm diameter and metal connectors for improved durability and a compact profile.

Advantages

Active Optical technology enables stable digital video transmission over much longer distances than traditional copper DisplayPort cables and lowers the risk of EMI/RFI interference. The cable’s extra-thin construction and metal connector housings provide a balance of flexibility and robustness, and the built-in copper power conductors remove the need for an external power supply. Supports 8K UHD resolution at 60 Hz when used with compatible devices.

How to use

Connect one end of the DisplayPort cable to the DisplayPort output of your source device and the other end to the DisplayPort input of your monitor or display. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch engages. Use compatible devices and graphics hardware that support the target resolution and refresh rate (for example 8K@60Hz). No external power adapter is required thanks to the integrated copper power conductors.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid sharp bends at the connector ends and route the cable with gentle curves; verify both source and display support the desired resolution and refresh rate. Keep the cable away from strong mechanical stress or repeated pinching to maintain long-term performance.
