DisplayPort-kabel Goobay 74779 3 m zwart G-Sync FreeSync

The Goobay 74779 DisplayPort cable (3 m) supports the DisplayPort 1.4 standard and is VESA-certified for reliable high-bandwidth transmission. It carries UHD video up to 8K @ 60 Hz with a maximum data rate of 32.4 Gbit/s and transmits audio and video signals between a computer or laptop and a monitor or projector. The cable is black, 3 metres long, and features DisplayPort connectors on both ends, compatible with graphics cards and displays that support DisplayPort.

Advantages

This DisplayPort cable provides high-resolution transmission up to 8K @ 60 Hz and supports high refresh rates up to 240 Hz (depending on graphics card and monitor). It is officially VESA-certified to ensure correct functionality of features such as Display Stream Compression (DSC) 1.2 and forward error correction, and is backward compatible with DisplayPort 1.3 and 1.2. The cable also supports FreeSync and G-Sync, HDCP 2.2, Dynamic HDR, and up to 32 audio channels including common formats like DTS-HD Master Audio. Pin 20 is not connected to prevent short-circuit damage.

How to use

Connect one DisplayPort connector to the DisplayPort output of your graphics card or laptop and the other connector to the DisplayPort input of your monitor or projector. Ensure both devices support the desired resolution and refresh rate; configure display settings in your operating system or graphics driver to enable features such as high refresh rates, HDR, G-Sync or FreeSync if supported. Avoid forcing compatibility modes that are not supported by the connected devices.

Recommendations

For optimal performance at 8K or very high refresh rates, use the cable with devices that explicitly support DisplayPort 1.4 features and ensure graphics drivers and monitor firmware are up to date. Keep connectors clean and insert them fully to maintain a stable connection.
