Draadloos access point Grandstream GWN7665 2,4 GHz 5 GHz

The Grandstream GWN7665 is a business-grade Wi‑Fi 6E wireless access point designed for medium to high user density environments. It supports dual-band operation on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz with a maximum aggregated data rate of up to 5400 Mbit/s, includes Power over Ethernet (PoE) for simplified installation, and implements contemporary security protocols such as WEP, WPA, WPA2‑PSK and WPA3 to maintain a secure wireless environment.

Advantages

The GWN7665 offers high throughput and support for multiple concurrent clients thanks to Wi‑Fi 6E and advanced IEEE 802.11ax features. Its PoE capability reduces cabling complexity and simplifies deployment. The unit’s white enclosure and compact design suit office, retail and public-space installations while supporting robust security standards and enterprise networking protocols.

Suitable for

• Office networks with medium-to-high user density
• Retail stores and hospitality environments
• Meeting rooms and conference areas
• Public spaces requiring managed enterprise Wi‑Fi

How to use

Mount the access point according to site planning and connect it to a PoE-capable switch or injector to power the device and provide network connectivity. Use the Grandstream management interface or a compatible controller to configure SSIDs, security settings (WEP/WPA/WPA2‑PSK/WPA3), VLANs and other network policies. Position the device centrally within the coverage area and follow standard channel planning to minimize interference and optimize performance.

Recommendations

For best performance in medium-to-high density deployments, enable Wi‑Fi 6 features, configure separate SSIDs or VLANs for guest and corporate traffic, and use a managed PoE switch that provides sufficient power for continuous operation. Regularly update firmware to maintain security and compatibility.
