Draadstekker ShiverPeaks BS51200-M2 3,5 mm roestvrij staal

The ShiverPeaks BS51200-M2 3.5 mm Stainless steel wire connector is a compact male audio connector designed for reliable signal transmission. Constructed from stainless steel, the connector prioritizes mechanical robustness and resistance to corrosion while maintaining a slim profile suitable for a wide range of audio setups. Each pack contains two identical connectors intended for use where a durable, conductive metal housing and precise 3.5 mm plug dimension are required.

Advantages

Stainless steel construction provides long-term resistance to wear and environmental effects while preserving electrical contact quality. The 3.5 mm male configuration matches common audio jacks for straightforward integration into headphone cables, portable audio players, and small signal wiring. Supplied as a pair, the connectors offer convenience for stereo applications or as matched replacements, with a compact design that supports neat cable routing and minimal signal loss when used with compatible cabling.

Suitable for

• Connecting headphones, earphones and portable audio devices
• Repairing or assembling audio cables and adapters
• Small signal wiring in consumer audio and multimedia equipment
• Projects requiring corrosion-resistant metal connectors

Key specifications

• Connector type: 3.5 mm male audio plug
• Material: stainless steel housing
• Pack contents: 2 pieces
• Application: audio signal transmission for consumer and portable devices
• Finish: metallic/stainless appearance

How to use

Prepare the cable by stripping the outer jacket to expose the conductors and tin the wire ends if applicable to the cable type. Insert conductors into the connector following the polarity and sleeve arrangement required for your application, then secure the connection mechanically and electrically according to the connector's assembly method (solder, crimp, or screw depending on the variant). Reassemble any housing components and verify a firm mechanical fit. Test the assembled connector in the intended audio device to confirm clear signal transfer and correct channel assignment before final installation.

Recommendations

Use cables with appropriate conductor size and insulation for stable contact and minimal signal degradation. When working in humid or outdoor environments, ensure connectors and mating jacks are clean and free of debris to maintain corrosion resistance. For repairs, match the connector polarity and tip/ring/sleeve wiring to the device to avoid audio channel misassignment.
