DSIT DANICOM CAT5e FTP netwerkkabel 305m massief koper PVC Dca afgeschermd 100% koper

Running a new Ethernet backbone through an office building or industrial facility? This 305-meter reel of DSIT DANICOM CAT5e FTP cable gives you the raw material for reliable, high-speed network infrastructure. The solid core conductors and foil shielding are built for permanent installation, while the PVC jacket and Dca fire rating ensure compliance and durability.

Key specifications

• Category: CAT5e, supporting Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-T) and 100 MHz bandwidth
• Shielding: FTP (Foiled Twisted Pair) with overall aluminum foil shield
• Conductor: Solid bare copper, 24 AWG, 4 twisted pairs
• Length: 305 meters (1000 feet) on a convenient reel
• Jacket: PVC, CPR class Dca per EN 50575
• Impedance: 100 Ohm, compliant with TIA/EIA-568-B.2
• RoHS compliant, not halogen-free

Why choose it

Solid copper conductors provide superior signal integrity and are ideal for punch-down terminations in patch panels and keystone jacks. The FTP shielding protects against electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable connections even in electrically noisy environments. The Dca fire rating meets European safety standards for building installations.

Ideal use cases

• Structured cabling in offices, schools, and hospitals
• Horizontal runs from patch panel to workstation
• IP camera and access point installations
• Industrial networks where EMI is a concern

Good to know

This cable is intended for fixed installation, not for patch cords. The PVC jacket is durable and cost-effective, but if you require low-smoke zero-halogen properties, consider an LSZH alternative.
