DSIT Danicom RJ45 boot Oranje, 10-pack – trekontlasting zonder haakjes voor ethernetkabel

When standard RJ45 connectors fail, it's rarely the copper that gives out—it's the plastic latch. The DSIT Danicom RJ45 Boot in orange eliminates that weak point with a snug, snagless sleeve that shields the locking tab from accidental snaps and snags during routine moves, adds, and changes. This 10-piece pack ensures you have enough boots on hand for a full patch panel refresh or a batch of custom-length cables.

Highlights

• Snagless design protects the RJ45 latch from breaking when pulling cables through crowded pathways.
• Bright orange colour makes cable identification instant in dense racks or structured cabling runs.
• Flexible PVC construction absorbs bending stress at the connector-cable junction, reducing wire fatigue.
• Fits round network cables with an outer diameter between 5.0 mm and 7.0 mm, covering most Cat5e and Cat6 bulk cable.
• RoHS compliant and UL94 V-2 rated for safe use in commercial and residential installations.

In daily use

Slide the boot over the cable before crimping the RJ45 plug, then position it so the latch sits inside the protective channel. The boot's internal profile grips the cable jacket firmly, preventing it from sliding back during insertion or removal. For high-density patch panels, the orange colour stands out against black or grey cabling, allowing technicians to trace circuits at a glance. The snagless profile also prevents the latch from catching on adjacent cables when unplugging from a fully loaded switch.
