e+p HDMI 5 kabel-adapter DVI 24+1 pin zwart

The e+p HDMI 5 Cable Gender Changer provides a direct connection between an HDMI source and a DVI 24+1 pin display. Designed to enable video signal transfer without active conversion, this compact black adapter allows connection of devices with different video interfaces while maintaining the original resolution capability of the source. Its simple one-piece construction is intended for reliable mechanical connection in home, office, or presentation environments.

Advantages

This gender changer offers a straightforward way to link HDMI output devices to DVI 24+1 inputs with minimal signal loss and without the need for external power. The compact black housing reduces clutter and fits easily into crowded cable setups. Durable connector shells and secure fit reduce the risk of accidental disconnection and help preserve contact integrity over repeated use.

Suitable for

• Connecting HDMI-equipped laptops, media players or set-top boxes to monitors or projectors with DVI 24+1 ports
• Temporary or permanent workstation setups where HDMI-to-DVI video linking is required
• Presentations and meeting rooms that combine legacy DVI displays with modern HDMI sources

Key specifications

• Connector A: HDMI (standard)
• Connector B: DVI 24+1 pin (single-link DVI)
• Colour: Black
• Function: Passive gender changer for video signal passthrough
• Signal type: Digital video (HDMI to DVI)

How to use

Connect the HDMI end of the adapter to the HDMI output on your source device and plug the DVI 24+1 connector into the DVI input of your display. Ensure both devices are powered off when making the connection to reduce the risk of connector wear; power them on after secure connection. Adjust display resolution and refresh rate on the source device if required to match the capabilities of the DVI display.

Recommendations

Use this adapter for direct video-only connections between HDMI and DVI devices. It does not transmit audio over the DVI interface; if audio is required, route audio separately. Avoid excessive bending at the connector junction and ensure connectors are fully inserted to maintain stable signal quality.
