The Portable Sander Einhell 4460731 240W 15000 RPM Dust Collection is a handheld sanding tool designed for light to medium sanding tasks. Its 240W motor delivers up to 15,000 revolutions per minute for consistent abrasive action, while the integrated dust collection system reduces airborne particles and keeps the work area cleaner. The compact, lightweight design supports one-handed operation and maneuverability on flat and curved surfaces, making it suited to finishing, smoothing and surface preparation on wood and similar materials.

Advantages

The sander combines a relatively high-speed motor with a dust extraction port to improve work efficiency and visibility of the sanding surface. Its ergonomic housing reduces user fatigue during extended use and the tool accepts standard sanding pads for straightforward pad replacement. The design balances power and portability, enabling precise control in detail work as well as broader surface sanding.

Suitable for

• Sanding and smoothing wooden furniture and panels
• Surface preparation before painting or varnishing
• Removing old finishes, paint or minor surface imperfections
• DIY projects that require compact, portable sanding

Key specifications

• Rated power: 240 W
• Maximum speed: 15,000 RPM
• Dust collection: integrated dust port for vacuum connection or built-in collection receptacle
• Tool type: handheld portable sander
• Intended materials: wood and similar soft-to-medium surfaces
• Weight and dimensions: compact, lightweight for single-hand use (see technical sheet for exact values)

How to use

Attach a compatible sanding pad and secure it according to the manufacturer’s instructions. If using a vacuum or the built-in dust receptacle, connect or check the dust collection before powering on. Start the sander and allow it to reach operating speed before contacting the work surface. Move the sander with steady, even passes, keeping the tool flat against the surface to avoid gouging. Change to finer grit sandpaper progressively to achieve a smooth finish. After use, turn off the tool and allow the pad to stop completely before setting it down; empty the dust collection container or clear the vacuum connection as needed.

Recommendations

For best results, use appropriate grit progression from coarse to fine and always secure the workpiece. Wear eye protection and a dust mask when sanding and ensure proper ventilation or active dust extraction to minimize airborne particles.
