Equip Cat.6 U/UTP patchkabel, 3,0 m, rood

The equip® Cat.6 U/UTP Patch Cable is a 3.0 m network cable designed for high-speed data transfer up to 10000 Mbit/s. It features RJ-45 connectors with gold plating and U/UTP construction to reduce electromagnetic interference, ensuring reliable signal transmission in office and data-center environments. The cable's red colour helps identify network runs and organize installations.

Advantages

This Cat.6 patch cable provides improved bandwidth and a better signal-to-noise margin compared with lower-category cables, enabling stable, low-error connections for demanding network tasks. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors offer corrosion resistance and consistent contact quality, while the 3.0 m length gives flexibility for typical patch-panel-to-device or desk connections.

Suitable for

• 10GBase-T local area network connections
• Patch-panel to switch or workstation cabling
• Office and server-room installations requiring reduced interference

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of a switch, router or wall outlet and the other into the target device's RJ-45 port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable without excessive bending or kinking and avoid running parallel to strong power sources to minimize interference.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat.6 cable for connections up to 3 m within racks or between desks and patch panels. Regularly inspect connectors for dirt or damage and replace the cable if physical wear or degraded transmission is detected.
