F-schroefklem BESSEY GS30 30 cm aluminium rood

The BESSEY GS30 F-clamp 30 cm Aluminium Red is a hand clamp designed for securing workpieces during woodworking and light metalworking tasks. It features a 30 cm maximum opening, an aluminium construction with a red finish and a compact, lightweight design of approximately 1.85 kg that balances portability with clamping stability. The tool is intended to provide consistent pressure for glue-ups, assembly and holding parts in place while cutting, drilling or fitting.

Advantages

The aluminium body reduces weight compared with steel clamps while maintaining a solid structure for stable clamping. The 30 cm opening accommodates a wide range of material thicknesses common in furniture making and general workshop use. Its ergonomically shaped handle and lever mechanism offer controlled tightening and release, enabling precise adjustment of clamping force. The red finish improves visibility in a busy workshop environment.

Suitable for

• Wood glue-ups and panel assembly
• Holding parts for sawing, routing or drilling
• Light metal fabrication and sheet metal holding
• DIY home repairs and furniture assembly

Key specifications

• Maximum opening: 30 cm
• Material: aluminium body
• Finish: red
• Approximate weight: 1.85 kg

How to use

Position the clamp so the fixed jaw and sliding jaw contact the faces of the workpiece. Adjust the sliding arm along the guide to approach the workpiece, then operate the handle or lever mechanism to apply clamping pressure until the parts are held securely without deformation. Release the clamp by operating the quick-release or reverse action on the handle and slide the jaw away from the workpiece. Use protective pads on delicate surfaces to prevent marring.

Recommendations

For best results, inspect the clamp before use to ensure smooth movement of the sliding jaw and clean contact surfaces. Avoid over-tightening on soft materials; use protective blocks if necessary. Store the clamp in a dry place to prevent any corrosion of metal components and maintain reliable function over time.
