Tafelklem Bessey GTR 160/60 voor de staalbouw, spankracht 1600 N

Bessey GTR 160/60 table clamp is a steel construction clamping tool designed to secure workpieces to benches and tables. With a compact profile and a fixed jaw span of 60 mm, this clamp provides a rated clamping force of 1600 N, offering steady hold for a range of workshop tasks. The unit's steel components deliver durability and resistance to deformation under load, making it suitable for repeated use in woodworking, metalworking and assembly environments.

Advantages

The clamp's steel construction ensures long-term strength and dimensional stability while delivering the specified 1600 N clamping force. Its compact profile reduces obstruction on the workbench and allows access to the clamped piece from multiple angles. A fixed jaw span of 60 mm gives predictable positioning and consistent contact pressure across the workpiece. The simple design minimizes maintenance requirements and provides reliable performance under typical workshop conditions.

Suitable for

• Securing small to medium-sized workpieces to benches and tables
• Woodworking operations such as planing, sanding and gluing
• Light to medium metalworking tasks including filing, drilling and fitting
• Assembly and repair tasks where a compact, stable clamp is needed

Key specifications

• Clamping force: 1600 N
• Material: steel construction
• Fixed jaw span: 60 mm
• Compact profile suitable for bench mounting
• Designed for manual clamping applications

How to use

Position the clamp on the edge of the bench or table so the jaws align with the workpiece area to be held. Ensure the clamp is seated securely against the work surface before applying force. Insert the workpiece between the fixed jaw span and tighten according to the clamp's manual tightening method until the required holding force is achieved. Check that the workpiece is stable and that clamping pressure is distributed evenly across the contact area before starting any machining or assembly operation.

Recommendations

For safe and effective use, verify that the bench or table edge can withstand the applied clamping force and that jaws contact solid material on the workpiece. Avoid exceeding the rated clamping force and inspect the clamp regularly for signs of wear or deformation. Use protective pads or sacrificial boards if necessary to prevent marring of finished surfaces.
