Fidlock Twist 590 Bike Base motion blue — Fidlock drinkfles-montagebasis voor Twist 590

Fidlock Twist 590 Bike Base motion blue is a mounting base engineered for use with the Fidlock Twist 590 bottle system. It provides a magnetic-mechanical attachment that secures a 590 ml Twist bottle to a bike frame, enabling quick one-handed docking and release while riding. The base is shaped to integrate with standard frame tubes and holds the bottle in a stable position to reduce movement during vibrations and rough terrain.

Advantages

The Fidlock magnetic-mechanical system combines magnetic guidance with a mechanical lock to ensure reliable holding force and intuitive operation. The bike base allows for fast, single-handed bottle access without the need to look away from the road. Designed for outdoor cycling, the base resists repeated docking actions and maintains consistent retention under pedaling forces. Its form factor keeps the bottle close to the frame to minimize aerodynamic impact and avoid interference with knees or pedals.

Suitable for

• Road cycling where quick access to hydration is required
• Mountain biking and off-road riding with vibration and shocks
• Commuting and urban cycling for convenient bottle mounting
• Training rides and long-distance cycling where secure retention matters

Key specifications

• Compatibility: designed for use with the Fidlock Twist 590 bottle system (590 ml capacity)
• Mount type: magnetic-mechanical base for frame attachment
• Material characteristics: durable polymer construction suitable for outdoor use
• Attachment method: screw or bolt mounting to common bottle-mounting points on bicycle frames
• Color: motion blue finish designed to match bicycle aesthetics

How to use

Mount the Fidlock Twist 590 Bike Base to the bicycle frame using the existing bottle cage mounting points and suitable screws or bolts. Align the base so the bottle path is unobstructed by the frame or components. To dock the bottle, guide the Twist 590 bottle toward the base; magnetic guidance will align the bottle and the mechanical lock will engage with a single twisting motion. To release, perform the reverse twist and withdraw the bottle with one hand. Regularly check mounting screws for tightness and inspect the base and bottle interface for wear.

Recommendations

Install the base following the bicycle manufacturer's torque specifications for mounting screws. Use only compatible Fidlock Twist 590 bottles to ensure proper magnetic-mechanical engagement. Periodically clean the contact surfaces and clear debris to maintain smooth docking and secure locking during rides.
