FireWire-kabel DeLOCK 82379 0,016 m zwart stekker/stekker

This FireWire cable from DeLOCK (model 82379) is a 0.016 m male-to-male cable in black for connecting devices with an internal FireWire header to an external FireWire port or for extending an existing internal pinheader, for example on front panels or multi-panels.

Advantages

The compact 0.016 m length minimizes internal cable clutter while providing a direct connection between an internal FireWire interface and an external port. Male-to-male connectors ensure compatibility with standard FireWire headers and ports. The black jacket offers a discreet appearance inside the system chassis.

Suitable for

• Connecting internal FireWire headers to external front-panel FireWire ports
• Extending or adapting internal pinheaders for multipanel or front-panel installations
• Linking FireWire peripherals such as cameras or external drives through a chassis-mounted port

How to use

Route the cable inside the computer chassis from the internal device or header to the external FireWire port or front panel connector. Align and insert the male FireWire plugs into the corresponding female ports; ensure connectors are oriented correctly and seated firmly. Secure any excess cable to avoid contact with cooling fans or moving parts.

Recommendations

Use this short internal cable for close internal connections only; for external or longer runs select a longer external FireWire cable. Handle connectors gently and avoid excessive bending at the cable ends to maintain reliable contact.
