Flatbedscanner Avision FB6380E A3 600 dpi USB

Avision FB6380E is an A3 flatbed scanner with 600 dpi optical resolution and USB connectivity. Designed for scanning documents, photographs and larger originals up to A3 size, the scanner captures detailed images for archiving, reproduction and office workflows. The flatbed format accommodates bound materials, fragile originals and items that cannot pass through sheet feeders, while USB connectivity enables a direct link to a PC for image transfer and control.

Advantages

The Avision FB6380E provides 600 dpi optical resolution for clear capture of text and photographic detail across A3-size originals. Its flatbed design allows safe scanning of books, photos, drawings and fragile documents without requiring a separate document feeder. USB connectivity simplifies installation and daily use with a single cable for power and data transfer when supported by the host. The scanner’s A3-compatible platen supports larger formats such as plans or posters that exceed standard A4 dimensions.

Suitable for

• Archiving printed documents and photographs up to A3 size
• Scanning bound books, magazines and fragile originals
• Digitising technical drawings, plans and posters
• Office workflows in small businesses and home offices requiring flatbed scanning

Key specifications

• Scan type: A3 flatbed scanner
• Optical resolution: 600 dpi
• Interface: USB connectivity
• Supported original size: up to A3

How to use

Place the original face-down on the glass platen aligned with the reference marks, then close the lid to keep the document flat. Connect the scanner to a computer using the USB cable and launch the scanning software or driver on the host system. Choose the desired resolution and color mode, preview the scan to verify alignment, then initiate the final scan. For multiple areas on a large original, perform consecutive scans and stitch images together in image-editing software if required.

Recommendations

Use 600 dpi for high-detail scans of photographs and fine-line drawings; reduce resolution to 300 dpi for standard text documents to save storage space. Handle fragile originals with clean hands or gloves and avoid pressing hard on the lid to prevent damage. Keep the glass platen clean and free of dust or smudges to maintain image quality.
