Too many books to carry on?
Looking for an easy way to scan books into digital files!

Design for Books
Eliminates the Book Spine Shadow and Text Distortion

BookPavilion Software Simplifies Digitizing Books

Plustek’s BookPavillion software makes book scanning easy and efficient.
Thanks to the intuitive user interface and scanning workflow.

The green design long life LED light source provides instant-on scanning with no warm-up and uniform illumination of book pages.

Versatile Media Handling

The A4 Book Scanner OpticBook 3800L is ideal for scanning a wide range of media including books, magazines, and bound materials - perfect for Government offices, libraries, and schools.

Plustek OpticBook 3800L. Maximum scan size: 216 x 297 mm, Optical scanning resolution: 1200 x 1200 DPI, Enhanced scan resolution: 1200 x 2400 DPI. How to use

Place the book on the scanner glass aligning the book edge with the 6 mm book edge guide. Use the single-touch buttons on the scanner to select the desired scan mode (Color, Gray, B/W) or delete a scan. Start the scan from the scanner control or from your computer using the included BookPavilion software or a TWAIN-compliant application. After scanning, run the ABBYY OCR function to convert images into searchable or editable formats if required.

Recommendations

For best results, flatten the book as much as possible without damaging the spine and select an appropriate scan mode to balance image quality and file size; use OCR for documents that require searchability or text editing.
