GARDENA smart home waterbesturing Wireless 19034-20 — Bluetooth, op batterijen (AA), zwart

The GARDENA smart Dual Water Control (Wireless 19034-20) is a battery-powered irrigation controller with Bluetooth connectivity that manages watering for two separate garden areas. It uses real-time weather data and a plant library to adapt schedules, integrates with common smart home systems, and includes robust valve technology to operate across a wide pressure range.

Advantages

The device provides data-driven automation via an integrated schedule assistant that analyses weather and plant needs to adjust irrigation. It supports Apple Home, Alexa and Google Home for remote control and voice integration. High-quality valve construction with Safe Stop technology ensures reliable operation from low to high water pressures, and two independent valves let you run separate schedules for different garden zones.

Suitable for

• Home gardeners managing a lawn and separate planting beds
• Properties requiring two independently controlled irrigation zones
• Users who want weather-adaptive irrigation with smartphone control via Bluetooth

When it may not be suitable

This controller relies on Bluetooth for connectivity and is battery powered (AA), so it is best suited for users who accept local wireless range limitations and periodic battery replacement. It may be less appropriate where wired network integration or mains power is required for continuous remote access over long distances.

Key specifications

• Power: AA batteries (1.5 V)
• Connectivity: Bluetooth wireless
• Control channels: 2 independent valves/zones
• Operating pressure range: 0.5 to 12 bar
• Weather-based scheduling using plant library and forecast data
• Smart home compatibility: Apple Home, Alexa, Google Home

How to use

Install the controller at the water tap and connect each irrigation line to its respective valve. Insert AA batteries and pair the device with the GARDENA smart App via Bluetooth to set up schedules or enable the data-driven schedule assistant. Create separate programs for each valve as needed and use the app or a connected smart home hub for manual activation and adjustments. The app also provides frost alerts based on weather forecasts.

What to consider before purchase

• Requires AA batteries and periodic replacement
• Bluetooth range limitations may affect remote setup and control
• Not a replacement for wired or internet-dependent controllers if continuous remote access is required

Recommendations

For reliable operation, mount the controller close to the tap, ensure good Bluetooth signal during setup, enable the GARDENA schedule assistant for weather-adaptive irrigation, and monitor battery status periodically. Use separate schedules for lawn and planting beds to match differing water needs.
