Glasvezeladapter DELOCK SC bus-bus beige, 4-pack (model 85996)

DELOCK SC female–female fibre optic adapter in beige is designed to connect two SC-terminated fibre cables with minimal signal loss. Supplied as a pack of four, this compact adapter fits standard panels, wall plates and fibre enclosures to provide a stable connection point for multimode or singlemode fibre links. The adapter body is shaped for easy insertion and alignment of SC connectors and is suitable for use in network and telecom installations where reliable fibre coupling is required.

Advantages

The adapter offers a compact, low-profile solution for mating SC connectors and maintaining optical alignment. Its female-to-female configuration supports straightforward inline joining of fibre cables without the need for additional hardware. Supplied as a set of four, the pack simplifies small deployment or spare-part stocking. The beige colour provides a neutral appearance that is commonly used for multimode installations and aids visual organisation in patching areas.

Suitable for

• Joining two SC-terminated multimode or singlemode fibre optic cables
• Mounting in patch panels, wall plates or fibre enclosures
• Temporary or permanent inline connections during network maintenance
• Small office, data closet or telecom cabinet installations

Key specifications

• Connector type: SC female to SC female
• Colour: beige
• Pack quantity: 4 adapters per package
• Application: multimode and singlemode fibre coupling
• Form factor: compact panel/muting adapter suitable for standard cutouts

How to use

Insert the adapter into the appropriate panel or wall plate cutout and secure it according to the host device's installation method. Ensure both fibre cable connectors are clean and free of dust or debris before mating; gently push each SC connector into the adapter until it clicks into place to establish the optical connection. For removal, depress the SC connector latch and pull straight back to avoid disturbing adjacent fibres. When used in a rack or enclosure, route cables to avoid sharp bends and maintain recommended bend radii.

Recommendations

Clean connector endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before installation and verify link performance with a power meter or visual fault locator where applicable. Store spare adapters in their polybag packaging until needed to protect from contamination.
