Glasvezelkabel ShiverPeaks 07-530715 10m LC SC grijs limoen

The ShiverPeaks 07-530715 10m fibre optic cable is an OM5 multimode patch cable with LC connector on one end and SC connector on the other. With a 50 µm core diameter and support for full duplex transmission, this grey and lime cable is designed for high-speed data links in structured cabling, server rooms and telecom racks. The OM5 specification allows for improved performance in short-range multi-wavelength applications and is backward compatible with OM3/OM4 multimode systems.

Advantages

The single 10 m length provides a balance between reach and manageability for horizontal and patch connections. LC to SC termination offers compatibility with a wide range of transceivers and patch panels. The 50 µm core diameter ensures efficient multimode light propagation and stable signal integrity for typical enterprise and data center speeds. The grey outer jacket with lime accents helps visually identify the cable in dense cabling environments while maintaining standard multimode fiber performance.

Suitable for

• Patching between switches, routers and transceivers in data centers
• Horizontal and backbone links within office and campus networks
• Connections to optical patch panels and media converters
• Short-range multi-wavelength applications that can leverage OM5 characteristics

Key specifications

• Fiber type: OM5 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Length: 10 m
• Connector A: LC (single connector)
• Connector B: SC (single connector)
• Transmission: Full duplex
• Jacket color: Grey with lime accents

How to use

Route the cable through cable management trays or behind racks to avoid tight bends; adhere to the minimum bend radius specified by multimode fiber standards. Clean connector endfaces before mating using appropriate fiber cleaning tools to prevent insertion loss. Insert the LC and SC connectors into compatible ports or adapters until they click or seat firmly; confirm link status on connected devices and test signal integrity with certified fiber testers when necessary.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, avoid excessive bending, stretching or repeated flexing. Use labeled cable management and color-coding practices to maintain traceability in dense installations. When deploying in mixed multimode environments, verify compatibility with existing OM3/OM4 links and transceivers to ensure expected bandwidth and reach.
