HDMI-kabel Alcasa 1m HDMI Type-A standaard wit

The Alcasa 1m HDMI cable by Good Connections is a 1-metre white HDMI Type A to HDMI Type A cable designed for reliable digital audio and video transmission between compatible devices. It features gold-plated contacts to reduce contact resistance and maintain signal integrity. The cable supports 3D video formats and Audio Return Channel (ARC), enabling two-way audio exchange with ARC-capable TVs and audio systems. Its compact length and neutral white finish suit short runs between screens, set-top boxes, gaming consoles and AV receivers.

Advantages

This HDMI cable offers a practical balance of signal quality and convenience. Gold-plated connectors improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance. Support for 3D video and ARC expands compatibility with modern home entertainment and display equipment. The 1 m length minimises excess cable clutter while providing enough reach for common installation scenarios. The white jacket integrates with light-coloured fixtures and consumer electronics without drawing attention.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs to set-top boxes, Blu-ray players or streaming devices
• Linking gaming consoles to monitors or TVs
• Connecting projectors for home or small-office presentations
• Using ARC to route TV audio to soundbars or AV receivers

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1 m
• Connectors: HDMI Type A (Standard) — both ends
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Supported features: 3D video, Audio Return Channel (ARC)
• Colour: White

How to use

Insert one HDMI Type A connector into the HDMI output of the source device (for example a set-top box, Blu-ray player or gaming console) and plug the other end into the HDMI input on the display device (TV, monitor or projector). If using ARC, connect the cable to the ARC-labelled HDMI port on the TV and to a compatible ARC port on the soundbar or AV receiver. Power on both devices and select the corresponding HDMI input on the display. For optimal performance avoid sharp bends, pinching or stretching of the cable and ensure connectors are fully seated.

Recommendations

For best results place the cable away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference (power supplies, large motors). Use the 1 m length for short-distance connections; for longer runs choose a longer cable rated for the required distance. If ARC functions are not recognised, check device settings to enable HDMI-CEC/ARC and confirm firmware is up to date.
