HDMI-kabel Alcasa 2m 2xHDMI

The Alcasa 2m HDMI cable by Good Connections is a white, 2-metre cable with two HDMI Type A male connectors featuring gold-plated contacts. It supports high-definition video up to 4096 x 2160 pixels and includes Audio Return Channel (ARC) capability for simplified audio routing between compatible TV and audio systems. The cable is intended for reliable transmission of digital video and audio signals between devices such as TVs, projectors and gaming consoles.

Advantages

The gold-plated HDMI contacts help maintain consistent signal integrity and reduce corrosion over time. The 2 m length provides flexibility for typical living room and office installations without excess slack. Support for 4096 x 2160 resolution ensures compatibility with 4K sources and displays, while ARC allows the TV to send audio back to an ARC-enabled receiver or soundbar using the same cable, reducing the need for extra audio cables. The white outer jacket offers a discreet, modern appearance that matches light-coloured setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting 4K TVs to set-top boxes, Blu-ray players or media streamers
• Linking gaming consoles to TVs or monitors for high-resolution gameplay
• Connecting projectors to laptops or media players for presentations and home cinema
• Routing audio from TV to ARC-capable soundbars or AV receivers

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A plug to the HDMI output of the source device (for example a set-top box, Blu-ray player or console) and the other plug to an HDMI input on the display device (TV, monitor or projector). If using ARC, connect the cable between the TV's ARC-labelled HDMI port and the ARC-enabled port on the soundbar or AV receiver, then enable ARC in the device settings if required. Ensure both devices are powered and set to the correct HDMI input to establish video and audio transmission.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid tight bends near the connector ends and route the cable away from large power cables or sources of electromagnetic interference. If you experience no audio via ARC, verify ARC/CEC is enabled in both devices' settings and try a different HDMI input labelled ARC. Inspect connectors for dust before connecting and ensure firm seating without forcing the plugs.
