Netwerkkabel Alcasa 3m Cat6 RJ-45 S/FTP groen

The Alcasa 3m Cat6 RJ-45 S/FTP Green networking cable is a 3-metre Category 6 patch cable designed for structured cabling and direct device connection. It uses S/FTP shielding (overall braid plus individually foil-wrapped pairs) to reduce electromagnetic interference and preserve signal integrity in environments with multiple nearby cables or electronic equipment. Both ends terminate in standard RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts to maintain stable electrical contact and resist corrosion over time.

Advantages

S/FTP construction provides enhanced protection against crosstalk and external interference compared with unshielded alternatives, helping to sustain high data throughput. The Cat6 specification supports higher frequency transmission suitable for gigabit Ethernet and many modern networking needs. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve connector reliability and reduce contact resistance. The bright green jacket makes the cable easy to identify among other cables in patch panels or workstation setups.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections between switches, routers, and computers
• Connecting networked devices in home offices and small business workspaces
• Patch cables in server rooms and network cabinets where interference reduction is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with foil-wrapped pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Length: 3 m
• Outer jacket colour: Green

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 plug firmly into the device network port until the latch clicks to ensure a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends, pinch points, and sources of strong electromagnetic noise such as high-power electrical equipment. For rack-mounted installations, use cable management accessories to maintain bend radius and prevent strain on the connectors. Verify link status on connected devices and perform a network test if necessary to confirm expected throughput.

Recommendations

Use the Alcasa Cat6 S/FTP cable for reliable gigabit connections and where increased shielding is beneficial. Avoid running the cable in parallel with mains power cables for long distances and keep bend radius above the manufacturer's minimum to preserve performance and connector life.
