Netwerkkabel Alcasa 8060-HP500S zwart 50 m Cat6a S/FTP

The Alcasa 8060-HP500S Black 50m Cat6a S/FTP is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for stable, high-speed network connections. Built to the Cat6a standard, this 50 metre cable features S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors with gold plating to maintain signal integrity and reduce electromagnetic interference. The black outer jacket provides a discreet appearance suitable for residential and commercial installations.

Advantages

This Cat6a S/FTP cable offers enhanced protection against crosstalk and external noise thanks to its overall foil plus individually shielded pairs. The RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts support reliable mating and corrosion resistance, contributing to consistent data throughput. At 50 metres, the cable length is practical for patching between network equipment while keeping clutter minimal. The black finish blends with most interiors and rack environments.

Suitable for

• Wired home networks requiring high bandwidth
• Office workstations, switches and patch panels
• Audio/video streaming and conferencing systems
• Small server rooms and network closets

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat6a
• Shielding type: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 50 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Connector contacts: gold plated
• Colour: Black

How to use

Route the Alcasa Cat6a cable between devices or between a device and a network panel, avoiding sharp bends and tight loops. Terminate or plug the RJ-45 connectors into compatible ports on switches, routers, network cards or patch panels. For installations longer than the specified length, use network switches or patch points to maintain signal performance. Keep the cable separated from sources of strong electromagnetic interference where possible.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, maintain gentle bend radii, avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines, and use suitable cable management accessories to prevent mechanical strain on the RJ-45 connectors.
