Hama 00200927 netwerkkabel grijs 20 m Cat6 F/UTP (FTP)

The Hama 00200927 RJ-45 Cat6 networking cable is a 20 m grey cable designed for wired Ethernet connections. It uses Cat6 specification with F/UTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and supports Gigabit Ethernet data transfer up to 1 Gbps. Both ends are fitted with RJ-45 connectors for simple connection to routers, switches and network devices.

Advantages

F/UTP shielding provides improved protection against external electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded cables, helping to maintain stable data throughput. The Cat6 specification supports high-speed Gigabit Ethernet up to 1000 Mbit/s. A 20 m length offers flexibility for desktop, office and home network layouts while grey jacket colour blends unobtrusively into equipment setups.

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your router, switch or modem and the other connector into the Ethernet port of your device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic noise when possible. No additional configuration is required for standard wired Ethernet connections.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to power lines or large electrical equipment. If you need longer runs or installation through walls, verify local building codes and consider using conduit or professional installation.
