Hama 00205008 HDMI-kabel 7,5 m HDMI Type-A (standaard) zwart

The Hama 00205008 HDMI cable is a 7.5 m black HDMI Type A cable designed for high-resolution audio and video transmission. Supporting up to 4096x2160 (4K) resolution and 18 Gbit/s data transfer, it also carries 3D signals and the Audio Return Channel (ARC) for simplified connections. Gold-plated contacts and shielded conductors help ensure stable signal transmission and reduced interference.

Advantages

This HDMI cable delivers ultra HD picture quality with support for 4K resolution and 3D content. Gold-plated plugs reduce contact resistance for consistent signal transfer, while high-quality shielding and materials minimise interference and preserve both audio and video clarity. The cable supports HDMI network features and ARC, reducing the need for extra audio cabling. Flexible construction offers improved kink protection and durability over regular cables.

Suitable for

• Connecting 4K TVs to Blu-ray players, set-top boxes or game consoles
• Home cinema systems requiring high-resolution video and ARC
• Devices supporting 3D video playback
• Setups where a 7.5 m cable length is needed

Key specifications

• Length: 7.5 m
• Connectors: HDMI Type A (Standard) – both ends
• Colour: Black
• Maximum resolution: 4096 x 2160 (4K)
• Data rate: up to 18 Gbit/s
• Supports: 3D, Audio Return Channel (ARC), HDMI network features

How to use

Connect one end of the cable to the HDMI output of your source device (Blu-ray player, console, set-top box) and the other end to the HDMI input of your display or AV receiver. If your TV and amplifier support ARC, connect the cable to the HDMI ARC ports to enable return audio without a separate audio cable. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and avoid excessive bending near the ends to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable alongside power cords or unshielded cables to minimise interference. Do not sharply kink the cable; use gentle curves and strain relief at connection points. Verify that connected devices support 4K/3D and ARC to utilise all features.
