Hama 00205201 kabelverbinder bananenplug goud recht 4 stuks

The Hama 00205201 wire connector Banana Gold Straight 4 pcs provides four straight banana plugs with gold-plated contacts designed for durable, low-resistance connections in audio and speaker systems. Each connector has a straight form factor and an attractive gold finish, offering reliable electrical contact and a compact solution for connecting amplifier or receiver outputs to speaker cables. The pack of four supports multiple speaker channels or spare replacements for home or professional audio setups.

Advantages

Gold-plated contacts reduce oxidation and improve conductivity, helping maintain clear signal transmission over time. The straight design simplifies insertion into binding posts and speaker terminals where space behind components is limited. Supplied as a set of four, these banana connectors allow consistent terminations across a multi-channel system and make it easy to replace worn or damaged plugs without reterminating cables. The gold colour provides visual clarity when identifying connections.

How to use

Strip a short length of insulation from the speaker cable, insert the bare conductor into the connector body according to the connector design, and secure the conductor by tightening any set screw or clamping mechanism the plug provides. Ensure correct polarity by matching positive and negative terminals between amplifier and speaker. After securing the connection, insert the straight banana plug fully into the speaker or amplifier binding post until it is seated firmly. Repeat for additional channels as required.

Recommendations

For best performance, use clean, adequately sized speaker cable and periodically check for corrosion or loose connections. Avoid excessive bending near the connector and keep contact surfaces free from dust or oils to preserve the gold plating’s conductive properties.
