Hama 00205232 kabel-splitter/-combiner zilver

The Hama 00205232 cable splitter provides a practical solution for distributing RF signals to multiple devices while maintaining impedance matching. Designed with a 75 Ω impedance and standard F-type connectors, this silver splitter supports reliable transmission for audio, video and data signals within home and small professional installations. Its compact, lightweight housing allows easy integration into existing cable runs and equipment racks without drawing attention.

Advantages

This cable splitter offers low-loss signal distribution thanks to its matched 75 Ω impedance and quality F connectors. The compact silver housing is corrosion-resistant and designed for convenient placement behind entertainment centers or inside distribution boxes. It's compatible with common coaxial cables and presents a straightforward way to multiply outputs without altering the signal type or requiring power.

How to use

Connect the incoming coaxial cable carrying the RF signal to the splitter input using the F-type connector and tighten securely but without excessive force. Attach outgoing coaxial cables to the splitter outputs and route them to the destination devices. After connections are made, check each connected device for signal presence and quality; minor adjustments to cable seating can improve performance. This splitter is passive, so no additional power or configuration is required.

Recommendations

For best results, use high-quality coaxial cables and properly tightened F connectors to minimise return loss and interference. Avoid long daisy-chains of passive splitters; if distributing signals to multiple endpoints over long distances, consider an amplified distribution amplifier. Keep the splitter in a dry, ventilated location and avoid bending connected cables sharply near the connectors.
