Hama 00205237 kabel-splitter/combiner zilver

The Hama 00205237 cable splitter provides reliable signal distribution across a wide frequency range of 4 - 1000 MHz. Finished in silver and equipped with coaxial connectors, this splitter is designed to connect one coaxial input to multiple outputs while maintaining signal integrity for home entertainment setups and other RF applications.

Advantages

This coaxial cable splitter offers broad frequency support, compatible with cable television, satellite receivers (where applicable), broadband and other RF sources within its specified range. Its metal housing in silver contributes to durability and shielding against electromagnetic interference. The standard coaxial connectors ensure compatibility with common cables and devices, and the compact design allows easy integration into home media cabinets or wallplate installations.

Suitable for

• Distributing cable TV signals to multiple televisions
• Connecting a single antenna or cable input to several receivers or set-top boxes
• Small home or office AV setups requiring passive signal splitting
• Situations where a compact, durable coaxial splitter is needed

Key specifications

• Frequency range: 4 - 1000 MHz
• Connector type: coaxial (F-type compatible connections)
• Housing colour: silver
• Passive splitter — no external power required
• Compact metal housing for mechanical protection and basic shielding

How to use

Turn off connected equipment before installing the splitter. Connect the incoming coaxial cable from the wall or antenna to the input connector of the splitter, then attach output cables to the remaining connectors leading to each device. Ensure connectors are tightened securely by hand to maintain good contact, but avoid excessive force. After connections are made, power on connected devices and verify signal reception on each output. If signal levels are weak, check cable integrity and connector seating.

Recommendations

Place the splitter in a dry, ventilated location away from heavy electrical equipment to reduce noise and interference. For installations with long cable runs or multiple splits, consider using an amplified distribution device or inline attenuators to maintain optimal signal levels. Regularly inspect connectors for corrosion and replace damaged cables to preserve signal quality.
