It connects to a host via a USB Type-A interface and supports data transfer rates up to 5 Gbit/s, making it suitable for backups, file transfer and system cloning without additional drivers.

Advantages

The aluminium body provides durability and improved heat dissipation in a compact form factor. The enclosure supports SATA III drives up to 2.5" and offers plug-and-play operation with broad compatibility across Windows, macOS and Linux. A single USB Type-A cable (included) supplies power and data, and the design supports drives up to 5 TB capacity.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use a healthy SATA III 2.5" drive and avoid subjecting the enclosure to heavy impacts.
