HDMI-adapter GEMBIRD A-HDMI90-FML, HDMI naar HDMI, haakse 90°-adapter, zwart

The Gembird A-HDMI90-FML is a compact HDMI gender changer in black that connects two standard HDMI cables, allowing extension or reconfiguration of HDMI links without replacing cables. It uses gold-plated contacts to maintain reliable signal transfer and reduce corrosion over time.

Advantages

Gold-plated contacts improve conductivity and resist oxidation, while the small, lightweight design makes the adapter easy to place behind equipment or inside tight cable assemblies. The all-black finish provides a discreet appearance that matches most AV setups.

Suitable for

• Extending HDMI runs by joining two HDMI cables
• Connecting devices when cable ends do not match or additional length is required
• Use in home entertainment systems, monitors, projectors, and set-top boxes

Key specifications

• Connector types: HDMI to HDMI
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: black
• Weight: approximately 0.01 kg

How to use

Insert one HDMI cable into each end of the adapter until the connectors are firmly seated. Ensure both connected devices are powered off when making or changing connections to avoid signal issues. Once connected, power on devices and select the appropriate HDMI input on your display or source device.

Recommendations

For best performance, use with high-quality HDMI cables and avoid placing the adapter under mechanical stress or in positions where the cable bend radius is sharp. If transmitting high-resolution video over long distances, consider using active extenders or a single long HDMI cable to minimise signal degradation.
