Managed switch KTI Networks KGS-1060-HP — 10-poorts Gigabit Ethernet PoE, managed

Managed switch kti networks KGS-1060-HP — 10-port Gigabit Ethernet PoE, managed is a compact network switch that provides ten Gigabit Ethernet ports with Power over Ethernet (PoE) capability and managed feature set for centralized control. Designed for small and medium networks, the device supports VLAN segmentation, traffic management and PoE power delivery to connected devices such as IP phones, surveillance cameras and wireless access points. The switch is intended for office, retail and surveillance environments requiring reliable wired connectivity and remote administration.

Advantages

The switch combines ten Gigabit Ethernet ports with PoE support and management functions to simplify installation and operation of networked devices. Centralized configuration and traffic control allow administrators to segment networks with VLANs and apply quality of service policies. PoE support reduces the need for separate power supplies for endpoints, while managed features enable remote monitoring and configuration changes without physical access to the device.

Suitable for

• Small and medium-sized office networks
• Retail point-of-sale and store networking
• IP surveillance camera deployments
• Wireless access point backhaul and PoE-powered APs
• VoIP telephony systems with PoE phones

Key specifications

• Number of ports: 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports
• PoE: Power over Ethernet support for connected devices
• Management: Managed switch functions including VLAN and traffic control
• Performance: Gigabit Ethernet connectivity on all ports
• Intended use: Designed for small and medium networks, office, retail and surveillance

How to use

Install the switch on a flat surface or in an appropriate rack space and connect it to your network core using a Gigabit uplink. Connect PoE-capable endpoints such as IP phones, cameras or access points to the switch ports. Access the management interface via the switch's web UI or supported management protocol to configure VLANs, QoS rules, PoE settings and other network policies. Monitor port status and traffic from the management interface and apply firmware updates as provided by the manufacturer.

Recommendations

Place the switch in a ventilated location with stable power. Plan VLANs and PoE power budget according to connected device requirements and verify that total PoE consumption does not exceed the switch's available power. Use the management features to segment traffic and set QoS for latency-sensitive services such as VoIP and video streams.
