HDMI-adapter haaks ACT AB3771

The ACT HDMI adapter down angled (male to female) provides a compact solution for redirecting HDMI connections where space behind devices is limited. With HDMI connectors on both ends and a down-angled form factor, the adapter enables reliable transmission of high-definition video and multi-channel audio while minimizing cable strain and port stress. Its black finish blends with common AV equipment and cable installations.

Advantages

This adapter preserves signal integrity with standard HDMI interface contacts while changing the cable direction to a downward angle, allowing devices to be placed closer to walls or inside cabinets without bending HDMI cables sharply. The compact construction reduces mechanical stress on ports and cables and helps maintain a neat installation. The male-to-female configuration offers plug-and-play convenience without additional drivers or power.

Suitable for

• Connecting an HDMI cable to a TV or monitor positioned close to a wall
• Installing AV equipment in tight cabinets, racks, or behind furniture
• Reducing wear on HDMI ports and cables in home theater and office setups
• Temporarily adapting an HDMI connection where straight connectors cannot be used

Key specifications

• Connector type: HDMI male to HDMI female
• Orientation: down-angled
• Colour: black
• Compatibility: standard HDMI devices (video and audio transmission)
• Usage: passive adapter, no external power required

How to use

Insert the male HDMI plug of the adapter into the HDMI port of your display or source device with the angled side oriented downward toward the cable exit. Then connect a standard HDMI cable to the female end of the adapter. Ensure connectors are fully seated but avoid excessive force. The adapter is intended for standard HDMI connections and requires no setup; simply verify that the connected devices recognize the signal and that video and audio pass through as expected.

Recommendations

Use this down-angled HDMI adapter to prevent sharp cable bends and to protect HDMI ports; avoid applying sideways pressure to the adapter when a cable is connected and keep the connection area free from heavy objects or high tension on the cable to preserve long-term reliability.
