HDMI-bus Keystone-inzet VivoLink PROKEYHDMIFM2B zwart, HDMI-contactdoosmodule voor wandcontactdozen en patchpanelen

VivoLink PROKEYHDMIFM2B is a black HDMI female keystone insert designed to fit standard keystone wall plates and patch panels. It provides a flush HDMI socket that integrates with wall plates and rack panels to create tidy, accessible connection points for displays, projectors and AV equipment. The module supports straightforward installation into keystone cutouts and offers a professional finish for both residential and commercial AV installations.

Advantages

The keystone insert offers a compact, space-saving HDMI socket that hides excess cable behind the wall plate or panel and reduces strain on connected cables. Its standard keystone form factor ensures compatibility with many common wall plates and patch panels, while the black finish provides a discreet appearance. The female HDMI connector enables secure cable mating and simplifies replacements or upgrades without modifying existing infrastructure.

Suitable for

• Home theatre and living-room TV installations
• Conference rooms and meeting-room AV setups
• Projector connections in classrooms and auditoriums
• Patch panels and structured cabling in offices and studios

Key specifications

• Connector type: HDMI female (flush socket)
• Form factor: Standard keystone insert compatible with keystone wall plates and patch panels
• Finish: Black
• Installation: Snap-in into keystone cutouts; designed for in-wall or panel mounting behind plates
• Compatibility: Works with standard HDMI cables and common keystone-compatible faceplates and panels

How to use

Insert the keystone module into a compatible wall plate or patch panel keystone opening until it snaps into place. Route the HDMI cable behind the wall or into the rack, and connect the cable to the female HDMI socket on the insert. Ensure the mating cable is fully seated for a secure connection. The module can be removed by gently releasing the snap tabs, allowing for easy replacement or reconfiguration of ports without altering the plate or panel.

Recommendations

Use certified HDMI cables appropriate for the required signal bandwidth (for example HDMI 2.0 or HDMI 2.1 compatible cables) to maintain video and audio performance. Avoid excessive bending or tight strain on the cable near the connector and keep the behind-plate wiring organized to prevent pressure on the keystone module. For permanent installations, verify wall plate and panel compatibility before mounting.
