Helos 288392 is a 2 m HDMI Type A male‑to‑male cable with gold‑plated contacts designed for straightforward digital audio and video transmission. The cable supports 3D signals and Audio Return Channel (ARC), and features a black outer jacket with standard HDMI Type A connectors on both ends. It is suitable for home and office setups where reliable HDMI connectivity between TVs, monitors, Blu‑ray players, game consoles and AV receivers is required.

Advantages

The gold‑plated contacts enhance corrosion resistance and improve contact reliability. With a 2 m length, the cable offers flexible placement of devices without excess slack. Support for 3D and ARC enables compatibility with devices and setups that use three‑dimensional video formats and two‑way audio routing to a TV or AV system. The standard HDMI Type A connectors ensure wide compatibility with common consumer electronics.

Suitable for

• Connecting a TV to a Blu‑ray player or media player
• Linking a game console to a TV or monitor
• Connecting an AV receiver to a TV using ARC for audio return
• Extending HDMI connections between monitors and desktop PCs

How to use

Insert one HDMI Type A connector into the HDMI output of the source device (for example a Blu‑ray player, game console or PC) and insert the other connector into the HDMI input of the display device (TV or monitor) or AV receiver. If using ARC, connect the cable between the TV's HDMI ARC input and the ARC‑capable HDMI output on the AV receiver or soundbar. After connection, select the appropriate HDMI input on the display and configure device settings if necessary to enable ARC or 3D features.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and kinks in the cable, and keep it away from high‑power electrical cables to reduce potential interference. Ensure devices are powered off or in standby when connecting or disconnecting the cable to prevent signal issues. When using ARC, verify that both devices have ARC enabled in their settings.
