Vivolink PROHDMIDVI7.5 videokabel-adapter 7,5 m HDMI DVI-D zwart

The Vivolink PROHDMIDVI7.5 is a 7.5 m active video cable adapter with HDMI and DVI‑D connectors designed for reliable signal transmission between devices with HDMI and DVI‑D ports. The cable supports long distance installations, is ultra flexible with a small bending radius and is Bi‑directional, making it suitable for various AV setups. It is RoHS and CEC compliant and comes in a durable black finish with a 7.3 mm diameter.

Advantages

The active construction enables stable transmission over longer distances than passive cables while maintaining signal integrity. Its 7.5 m length and 7.3 mm diameter provide a balance between flexibility and durability. Bi‑directional capability allows conversion and use in either signal direction between HDMI and DVI‑D devices. Compliance with RoHS and CEC standards ensures safer materials and interoperability with consumer electronics.

Suitable for

• Connecting a computer or media player with DVI‑D output to an HDMI display or TV
• AV installations requiring a 7.5 m cable run
• Setups with limited cable bending space due to the cable's flexibility
• Situations where bidirectional signal conversion between HDMI and DVI‑D is needed

Key specifications

• Length: 7.5 m
• Connectors: HDMI to DVI‑D
• Cable diameter: 7.3 mm
• Weight: 0.47 kg
• Colour: Black
• Certifications: RoHS, CEC

How to use

Connect the HDMI end to the HDMI port of your display or source device and the DVI‑D end to the corresponding port on the other device. The cable is bi‑directional, so it can be used in either orientation depending on which device outputs the signal. Ensure both devices are powered off when connecting or disconnecting to avoid hot‑plug issues, then power them on and select the appropriate input on the display.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and sharp kinks; maintain a gentle curvature consistent with the cable's flexible design. Use in indoor AV environments and verify device compatibility with DVI‑D (digital) signals, as DVI‑D does not carry audio in most implementations.
