HDMI-kabel Lindy 38529 20 m HDMI Type-A stekker 2.1 48 Gbit/s zwart

The Lindy 38529 20 m Armoured Fibre Optic Hybrid HDMI 8K60 Cable is a rugged hybrid cable designed to extend HDMI® signals over long distances while preserving high-quality audio and video. The cable combines fibre optic transmission with active electronics to deliver uncompressed HDMI® 2.1 content with 48 Gbit/s bandwidth and supports resolutions up to 7680x4320 (8K) and 10240x4320 at 60 Hz as well as 3840x2160 at 120 Hz. The construction includes aramid strength fibres and a steel armoured jacket beneath a TPE sheath for increased durability, flexibility and resistance to electromagnetic interference. Both ends use robust gold-plated HDMI Type A male connectors protected by special sleeves for transport security.

Advantages

This 20 m HDMI Type A to Type A cable provides active, uncompressed signal extension that passive cables cannot achieve. Its armoured build offers high crush resistance (up to 2000 N) and a maximum pulling force of up to 100 N while maintaining a thin 6 mm diameter for easier routing. The cable supports HDR including dynamic formats such as Dolby Vision and HDR10+ and full 48 Gbit/s bandwidth for HDMI 2.1 features, ensuring accurate colour reproduction and high refresh rates for demanding AV applications.

Suitable for

• Professional AV installations at live events and trade shows
• Long-distance connections between sources and displays in studios or control rooms
• High-resolution home cinema and high-refresh gaming setups requiring HDMI 2.1 bandwidth
• Installations where cable durability and EMI/RFI resistance are required

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A male connector to the HDMI output of your source device (player, PC, media server) and the other HDMI Type A male connector to the HDMI input of the display, projector or receiver. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and protected sleeves remain in place during transport. Because the cable contains active electronics for long-distance transmission, use the full cable length without coiling tightly and avoid excessive bends at the connector ends to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep cable runs free from strong EMI sources and avoid sharp kinks. Use this Lindy armoured hybrid HDMI cable for installations where long-distance, high-bandwidth HDMI 2.1 signals and physical durability are required; verify device compatibility with HDMI 2.1 features such as high refresh rates and dynamic HDR formats.
