HDMI-kabel ShiverPeaks BS30-55495 40 m type A zwart

The ShiverPeaks BS30-55495 HDMI cable is a 40 m black cable with full-size HDMI Type A male connectors at both ends. Designed for long-distance transmission, it supports data rates up to 48 Gbit/s and includes Audio Return Channel (ARC) functionality for two-way audio between display and source devices. Gold-plated contacts improve contact reliability and signal transfer quality for high-definition video and multichannel audio applications.

Advantages

The cable's 40 m length enables flexible routing in large rooms or between separate equipment locations while maintaining high-bandwidth performance suitable for 4K/8K video signals within the specified data rate. Gold-plated contacts reduce oxidation and help preserve a stable connection. The inclusion of ARC simplifies audio setup by allowing return audio from the display to the audio system over a single cable.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs and projectors to receivers or media players in living rooms and conference spaces
• Professional AV installations where long HDMI runs are required
• Home theater systems that use ARC-capable displays and sound systems
• Setups that require a discreet black cable for visible or in-wall routing

Key specifications

• Cable length: 40 m
• Connector type: HDMI Type A (male) on both ends
• Maximum data rate: up to 48 Gbit/s
• Audio support: Audio Return Channel (ARC)
• Contact finish: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: black

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A male end to the HDMI output of your source device and the other end to the HDMI input of your display or receiver. Ensure both connected devices support the intended video and audio formats and configure device settings for ARC if using return audio. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension along the cable run; secure the cable with clips or channels appropriate for the installation environment.

Recommendations

For best results, use short, neat cable runs where possible and avoid running the HDMI cable parallel to high-voltage power lines to minimize interference. When routing long lengths, plan connection points and test video/audio performance at the desired resolution and refresh rate. If in-wall installation is required, verify compliance with local building codes and use appropriate conduit or in-wall rated cabling solutions when necessary.
