HDMI-naar-DVI-kabel ShiverPeaks 77485-RE, 5 m, vergulde stekkers

ShiverPeaks HDMI to DVI cable 77485-RE is a 5 m connection cable designed to transmit a digital video signal from HDMI source devices to DVI-equipped displays. The cable features gold-plated connectors to improve contact reliability and reduce corrosion, making it suitable for desktop workstations, AV racks and presentation systems that require a stable digital video link over a medium cable length.

Advantages

The cable provides a direct digital video path between HDMI outputs and DVI inputs without signal conversion, preserving image quality for compatible resolutions. Gold-plated connector surfaces enhance conductivity and contact resilience while the 5 m length allows flexible placement of devices in offices, meeting rooms or home setups. The construction is intended for repeated plug-and-play use and to reduce the need for frequent connector maintenance.

Suitable for

• Connecting a computer or media player with HDMI output to a monitor or projector with DVI input
• Office and corporate meeting room AV setups
• Home desktop configurations where a longer cable run is needed
• Presentation systems and education environments requiring reliable digital video links

Key specifications

• Cable type: HDMI (source) to DVI (display)
• Length: 5 m
• Connector plating: gold-plated contacts for improved corrosion resistance
• Signal: digital video transmission (no analog audio transfer via DVI)
• Compatibility: suitable for devices supporting standard HDMI and DVI single-link digital video signals

How to use

Connect the HDMI end of the cable to the HDMI output on your source device and the DVI end to the DVI input on the display. Ensure both devices are powered off or that hot-plugging is supported by your hardware before making the connection. After connecting, power on the display and source, then select the appropriate input on the display. Adjust display resolution and refresh rate in the source device settings to match the display capabilities for optimal image quality.

Recommendations

The cable is intended for digital video only: DVI typically does not carry audio, so a separate audio connection is required when sound is needed. For best results, avoid tight bends near the connectors and secure cable runs to prevent strain. Use this cable within the specified length to maintain signal integrity and ensure connected devices support the target resolution.
