ShiverPeaks SP05-02010 is a compact 2x1 bi-directional HDMI switch in a metal housing that supports 4K2K resolution. The device allows switching between two HDMI sources to a single display or routing one source to two displays in setups that support bi-directional operation. Designed for environments where a small footprint and durable construction are needed, this HDMI switch is intended for home entertainment systems, meeting rooms and professional AV installations that require straightforward signal routing and reliable physical protection.

Advantages

The metal housing provides robust mechanical protection and improved heat dissipation compared with plastic enclosures. Bi-directional HDMI switching enables flexible use either to select one of two sources for a display or to distribute a single source to two displays when used in compatible configurations. Support for 4K2K resolution ensures compatibility with high-resolution media and modern displays. The compact form factor simplifies integration into crowded AV racks or desktop setups.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Home theatre systems where multiple HDMI sources need to share one 4K display
• Small conference rooms and huddle spaces requiring simple source selection
• AV installations that need a compact, durable HDMI switching device
• Temporary setups and events where quick source switching is necessary

Key specifications

• Switch type: 2x1 bi-directional HDMI switch
• Enclosure: metal housing for increased durability and heat dissipation
• Resolution support: up to 4K2K (Ultra HD)
• Intended use: switching between two HDMI sources to one display or routing one source to two displays in compatible setups
• Category: Video switches and splitters suitable for AV installations and home entertainment
