Verticale bandzaag Holzmann HBS230HQ

The Holzmann HBS230HQ is a vertical band saw designed for small workshops and hobby woodworkers. It is powered by a 300 W motor and offers a cutting height of 90 mm, making it suitable for a range of light to medium cutting tasks. The machine features a compact 300 x 300 mm table and an adjustable blade speed from 635 to 1575 m/min, providing control over cutting performance for different materials. The body combines aluminum elements with a black and red finish for a durable and modern appearance.

Advantages

The saw delivers a balance of compact footprint and cutting capacity, suited to limited workspace conditions. Variable blade speed allows adaptation to different wood types and cutting profiles, while the 300 W motor provides consistent performance for common woodworking operations. The 300 x 300 mm table supports stable workpiece positioning and control. The construction uses robust materials intended to ensure machine longevity under regular use.

Suitable for

• Resawing small boards and trimming workpieces
• Curved and contour cuts in wood and soft materials
• Model making, cabinetry repairs, and hobby projects
• Workshops with limited space that require a compact vertical band saw

Key specifications

• Motor power: 300 W
• Maximum cutting height: 90 mm
• Table size: 300 x 300 mm
• Blade speed range: 635–1575 m/min
• Construction materials: aluminum components with painted finish

How to use

Set up the saw on a stable surface and secure it according to the manufacturer’s mounting recommendations. Install an appropriate band saw blade for the intended material and adjust blade tension and tracking before switching on. Select a blade speed within the 635–1575 m/min range suited to the material and desired finish. Align and support the workpiece on the 300 x 300 mm table, use fences or guides if required, and feed the workpiece steadily into the blade without forcing. Keep hands clear of the cutting zone and use push sticks for small pieces.

Recommendations

Use blades appropriate for the material and tooth configuration for the intended cut. For smoother finishes select higher blade speeds and finer-tooth blades; for aggressive stock removal use lower speeds and coarser blades. Regularly check blade tension, clean the table surface, and inspect moving parts for wear. Wear suitable personal protective equipment and ensure proper dust extraction when cutting wood.
