Smart Home starterset verwarming HomeMatic HmIP-HAP met 3x radiatorthermostaten

The HomeMatic Smart Home Starter Set Heating HmIP-HAP with 3x radiator thermostats contains a central access point (HmIP-HAP) and three radiator thermostats designed for automated room temperature control within a HomeMatic IP system. The set enables scheduled temperature changes, remote adjustment via the HomeMatic app and centralized management of radiator valves. It is intended for use in apartments and houses where targeted heating control can improve comfort and reduce energy consumption.

Advantages

The access point provides a central connection for integrating the radiator thermostats into the HomeMatic IP ecosystem, allowing secure communication and remote control. The three included radiator thermostats fit standard heating systems and permit individual room setpoints and time-based schedules to match daily routines. Together they support more efficient heating by enabling precise temperature control in separate rooms, which can help lower heating costs and reduce unnecessary energy use.

Suitable for

• Automated temperature control in apartments
• Heating management in individual rooms of houses
• Scheduling daily temperature changes for comfort and savings
• Remote adjustment of radiator valves via HomeMatic IP

Key specifications

• Integration: HomeMatic IP smart home system compatibility
• Functions: scheduling, remote temperature adjustment, centralized valve control
• Application: designed for radiator/heating valve control in residential spaces

How to use

Install the HmIP-HAP access point and connect it to the local network following the manufacturer instructions. Replace or mount the radiator thermostats on the radiator valves in the rooms you wish to control, then add each device to the HomeMatic IP system using the app. Configure room-specific setpoints and weekly schedules in the app, and verify wireless connectivity between the access point and the thermostats. Use the app to adjust temperatures remotely, activate predefined scenes or temporarily override schedules as needed.

Recommendations

Place radiator thermostats on radiators in representative rooms and avoid installing them behind curtains or furniture to ensure accurate temperature measurement. Use room-specific scheduling to heat only occupied areas and make incremental adjustments to setpoints to find a balance between comfort and energy efficiency.
