HONEYWELL 8680iB Advanced - Barcode-scanner - draagbaar

Wearable scanning reaches a new level of efficiency with the Honeywell 8680iB Advanced. Instead of picking up and putting down a handheld scanner hundreds of times per shift, this ring-mounted imager stays on the back of your hand, leaving both hands free for picking, packing, sorting, or assembly. The result is a dramatic reduction in motion waste and a measurable boost in throughput for high-volume workflows.

Highlights

• 2D area imager (Honeywell N6603) reads all standard 1D, 2D, postal, and optional OCR codes
• Bluetooth 4.2 (BLE) wireless connectivity with SPP and HID keyboard emulation
• Wearable form factor: ring or back-of-hand mount keeps hands free
• 1050 mAh Li-Ion battery delivers up to 10 hours or 10,000 scans per charge
• Rugged design: IP54 sealing, 1.5 m drop resistance, -20°C to 50°C operating range
• Two programmable buttons and multi-color LED, beeper, and vibrator feedback

In daily use

Operators simply slip the scanner onto a finger or the back of the hand and scan with a natural pointing motion. The imager's 610 cm/s motion tolerance captures codes on fast-moving items without hesitation, while the 20% minimum print contrast handles faded or low-quality labels. Pairing is straightforward with Android, iOS, or Windows hosts, and the wearable design eliminates cable snags and scanner holsters. The lightweight housing and balanced weight distribution reduce fatigue even during double shifts.
