HONEYWELL barcodescanner Quantum T 3580 - bedraad - 1D-imager - zwart - USB-kit

The MS3580 QuantumT delivers industry-leading omnidirectional scanning performance and offers an optional single-line scanning mode in a compact form factor. It features patented CodeGate technology that helps reduce unwanted scans by enabling a single-line mode for reading menu-style barcodes. The scanner's small footprint and multiple stand options reduce required counter space and free up room for merchandise and promotional displays.

Advantages

Omnidirectional scanning provides fast and reliable capture of barcodes without precise orientation. The optional single-line CodeGate mode simplifies scanning of menu-style codes and minimizes accidental reads. Compact design and various stand accessories allow flexible deployment while conserving counter space.

Key specifications

• Scanning modes: omnidirectional and optional single-line (CodeGate)
• Form factor: compact handheld/desktop with multiple stand options
• Use case: retail barcode scanning, menu-style code reading

How to use

Position the MS3580 QuantumT to face the barcode and allow the omnidirectional scan pattern to capture the code; for menu-style barcodes, enable the single-line CodeGate mode and align the targeted line within the scan field. Choose a stand option to secure the scanner on the counter or use it handheld as needed. Adjust placement to minimize interference and ensure clear line of sight to presented barcodes.

Recommendations

For retail environments, mount the scanner using a suitable stand to save counter space and improve workflow. Use the CodeGate single-line mode when scanning price-lists or stacked barcodes to reduce misreads.
