Howard Leight VeriShield VS 120FHV ear muffs provide reliable, foldable hearing protection with an SNR rating of 32 dB. These compact ear defenders combine cushioned ear cups and a foldable headband to deliver effective noise attenuation in industrial, construction and DIY environments while remaining easy to store and transport. The design focuses on comfort and consistent performance for tasks that require prolonged wear and high noise reduction.

Advantages

The VeriShield VS 120FHV offers high attenuation with an SNR of 32 dB to substantially reduce noise exposure. Cushioned ear cups help maintain a comfortable seal and reduce pressure on the ears during extended use. The foldable headband and compact form make the ear muffs convenient to carry and store when not in use. Materials and construction are intended for repeated daily use in work settings where robust hearing protection is necessary.

Suitable for

• Industrial manufacturing and factory environments with loud machinery
• Construction sites and heavy equipment operation
• Workshop and DIY tasks involving power tools and noisy hand tools
• Maintenance and renovation work with intermittent high noise levels

Key specifications

• SNR (Single Number Rating): 32 dB
• Foldable headband for compact storage and transport
• Cushioned ear cups for improved comfort and seal
• Over‑the‑head style with full ear coverage
• Durable construction suitable for regular use in work environments

How to use

Place the ear muffs over the head so that each cushioned cup fully encloses the ear and the headband rests comfortably on the crown. Adjust the position and cup depth to obtain an even, snug seal around the ear canal; proper fit is required to achieve the rated attenuation. When not in use, fold the headband and cups inward to reduce the size for storage in a toolbox or bag. Inspect cushions and seals periodically and replace if damaged or excessively worn to maintain performance.

Recommendations

For optimal hearing protection, use the VeriShield VS 120FHV together with administrative controls such as reduced exposure time or distance from noise sources when possible. Ensure ear cushions remain clean and intact, and inspect the product for signs of wear before each shift. Combine with other personal protective equipment as required by site safety procedures.
