Gehoorbescherming oorkappen Howard Leight VS110F 27 dB, passieve geluidsreductie 27 dB

Howard Leight VS110F 27 dB are passive hearing protection earmuffs designed to provide reliable noise attenuation in environments with hazardous sound levels. These earmuffs offer a noise reduction rating of 27 dB, a foldable headband for compact storage, and cushioned ear cups intended to maintain comfort during extended use. The design focuses on straightforward, durable protection for workplace and leisure situations where reducing noise exposure is required.

Advantages

The earmuffs deliver a consistent 27 dB reduction in airborne noise without the need for batteries or electronic components. A foldable headband reduces storage volume and simplifies transport between sites or in a tool bag. Soft, padded ear cushions help maintain a secure seal around the ear for effective attenuation while aiming to reduce pressure points during prolonged wear. The passive design ensures simple maintenance and long-term reliability in dusty or damp conditions.

Suitable for

• Industrial workplaces with high continuous noise levels
• Construction sites and roadwork
• Shooting ranges and hunting preparation
• DIY projects and workshop environments
• Noisy events or machinery operation

Key specifications

• Noise reduction: 27 dB (passive attenuation)
• Design: over-ear, closed-cup earmuffs
• Headband: foldable for compact storage
• Ear cushions: padded for extended comfort
• Construction: durable materials for regular use in work environments

How to use

Position the headband over the top of the head and center each ear cup over the ear so the cushions form a seal against the head. Adjust the headband downward or upward until the fit is snug but not excessively tight. For optimal protection, ensure there are no gaps between the cushions and the skin and that hair, hats or glasses are not preventing a full seal. Fold the headband and store the earmuffs in a dry place when not in use.

Recommendations

Inspect the cushions and headband regularly for damage or wear and replace components if the seal degrades. Use the earmuffs whenever exposed to loud or continuous noise above recommended exposure limits; combine with earplugs for higher attenuation if required by task risk assessment. Clean cushions with a mild detergent and allow to dry completely before reuse.
