HONEYWELL HF680 - Barcodescanner - Desktop-apparaat

The Honeywell HF680 stands apart from ordinary desktop scanners by combining a high-resolution 2D area imager with a compact, presentation-style form factor. It reads virtually any 1D or 2D barcode from paper or screen, making it a reliable choice for retail counters, kiosks, and light industrial workstations.

Highlights

• 2D area imager with 640 x 480 pixel array decodes all common symbologies, including QR Code, Data Matrix, PDF417, and Aztec.
• Motion tolerance of 2.5 m/s for 13 mil UPC ensures rapid, accurate scanning even when items are in motion.
• RS-232 interface provides simple integration with POS systems, legacy terminals, and other host devices.
• Durable design withstands 1.2 m drops to concrete and carries an IP40 environmental sealing rating.
• White LED illumination is gentle on the eyes and ideal for scanning from mobile device screens.

In daily use

The HF680 excels in high-throughput environments where speed and reliability matter. Its presentation mode allows hands-free operation—simply place the item in front of the scanner and the imager captures the code instantly. The good read LED and adjustable beeper provide clear confirmation, reducing errors and keeping lines moving. With a small footprint and black housing, it blends neatly into any counter or workstation.
