HPE StoreEver LTO-7 Ultrium 15000 externe tapestreamer

Data growth is relentless, and traditional backup methods often fall short when you need fast, reliable protection for large volumes of information. The HPE StoreEver LTO-7 Ultrium 15000 External Tape Drive tackles this challenge with a massive 6 TB native capacity per cartridge, expanding to 15 TB with 2.5:1 compression. It delivers a native transfer rate of 300 MB/s, so even multi-terabyte backups complete quickly, while AES 256-bit hardware encryption keeps sensitive data secure without slowing performance.

Who is it for

This drive is ideal for small and medium businesses, remote offices, or IT departments that need a cost-effective, long-term archival solution. It suits environments where data must be retained for compliance, disaster recovery, or simply to free up primary storage. If you handle large datasets—such as video archives, databases, or virtual machine images—and need a reliable offline backup target, this tape drive is built for you.
